Re: Californication
God I love that show! That party, where the host dies of auto-erotic asphyxiation and is hanging off the door when Hank and Charlie walk in? Gold. Pure, unadulterated (lol) GOLD.
So much of that show is beyond brilliant. Now I feel the need to dig out my DVDs lol!
Binge watching is the best way to go with it too.

Yeah, that was a really screwed up situation but I really liked the whole Asby story with the girl that got away. Pretty tragic.

Re: Californication
Was that the girl with the dog? The one he dognapped, except it was the wrong one? That was sad, sad mess wasn't it?
But then, Hank's sexy and all but he's a really bad idea as a partner, I kind of think anyone who dodges him is lucky. He'd be a great buddy though, all the funs would be had from the sidelines, I'd love to be his BFF.
Although, having said that, I don't think he's a bad guy, just messed up. I've always thought Karen has a lot to do with the way he is, if he'd picked someone more compatible he probably would never have ended up quite so bad. More an eccentric arty type than the erratic mess he is. She brought the worst out in him I think, then walked away, not cool really.
Remember the season with Rick Springfield? That was hilarious, what a legend he was sending himself up like that.
I might have to drag myself away from PoE for one ep a night now... if I can't place characters and events, it's clearly been too long!

Re: Californication
Yeah! The whole season with Rick Springfield was a lot of fun! Asby was the producer that Hank was living with and writing the biography in Season 2 or 3.. Can't recall now but it was one of those seasons.
